A presence at the viewing.
A presence families can visit during the service, and in the weeks and months after. You host one device; we build the presence and run everything behind it.
What you host, and what we handle.
The practical details, in plain terms.
A conversation at the viewing, and after.
A live video conversation with the person, in their voice and with their face, on one screen in your home. Visitors speak or type, and they answer. Who may visit is set in the person's own permission: only the people they named, or any mourner at the service.
The family keeps visiting from a private link on any device. The presence stays for as long as the permission says: through the service only, until a set date, or until the family chooses to pause.
One device, locked to one app.
You host one device running ForeverNear in single-app kiosk mode, so a visitor can't leave the visit or open anything else. We run everything behind it: the presence, the servers and the updates.
- Short, self-resetting visits. Each visit is capped at 30 minutes and resets after 90 seconds of quiet.
- Nothing carries between visitors. The screen clears after every visit, so one family never sees another's conversation.
- Recovers on its own. If the connection drops, the device reconnects by itself.
None during visits.
We handle the intake, the recording, the build and the test visit with the family. Your staff don't run the device or sit with visitors.
If a family wants a hand with the intake form, you're welcome to sit with them while they fill it in.
Screened, watched, and approved first.
- Crisis language is screened. Every message is checked before a reply is spoken in their voice. If a visitor mentions self-harm or a medical emergency, they hear a neutral voice with real resources, and a real person on our side is paged.
- We monitor every kiosk. We set up a heartbeat on every kiosk we install: if the device goes offline, crashes or loses power, the heartbeat stops and we're alerted.
- The family approves it first. Nothing goes live until a named family member has done a test visit and approved it.
Signed while living, so you never vouch for anyone.
Every presence starts with permission the person signed while they were alive, with a witness. If someone has already passed without signing, we don't build one. Your home is never asked to vouch for who someone was or what they would have wanted.
Mainstream avatar platforms forbid recreating the deceased in their terms. Ours is consent-first and built for the new likeness rules, such as California AB 1836 and the EU AI Act.
2-4 weeks.
From material to first visit: 2-4 weeks, including a test visit the family approves first.
For a presence at the viewing, the material and permission need to be with us 2-4 weeks ahead, usually as part of a pre-arranged plan. Families who start later can still visit afterwards from their private link.
Priced per location. Let's talk.
Pricing is per location, shaped around your home and how many families you serve. Tell us a little about your home and we'll set up a private walk-through.
